Departure. the morning from Ouarzazate for M’hamid and the Erg Lihoudi Sahara Dunes. Crossing the Anti-Atlas to the village of Agdez. Continuation by the track of the old caravan route. In order to find you as close as possible to the palm grove of the Draa Valley and its kasbahs. Take the road again to reach Zagora. Lunch on site. In the afternoon, departure in 4×4 for M’hamid Sahara. (end of the paved road). Departure by camel (1 hour) in the desert to reach the bivouac. Located at the Erg Lihoudi dunes. Walk around the dunes enjoying a superb sunset. Dinner and night at the bivouac.
After sunrise and breakfast. Return by camel or 4×4 to reach the village of Sahara M’hamid. To visit the old Kasbah and the museum. Then the departure in 4×4 or camels according to your choice. To join the oasis for lunch on site on a picnic. The afternoon. Resumption of the 4×4 by the track for the dunes of Erg-Chagaga Sahara. Crossing 65 km of desert (hamada, erg, reg, oasis…). Arrive at Erg-Chagaga dunes in the afternoon. Walk in the dunes enjoying a superb sunset at the top of Erg Laabidlia (300 m). Dinner and night at the bivouac.
After sunrise and breakfast. Departure in 4×4 from the dunes of Erg-Chagaga for Ouarzazate. Driving along the dunes of Chagaga Sahara. To Lake Iriqui. Continuation by the Paris-Dakar track to Foum Zguid. Lunch on site. In the afternoon, departure by 4×4 for Ouarzazate via Taznakht (village famous for its carpet manufacturing). Arrival in Ouarzazate late afternoon.
