3 days Ouarzazate to Merzouga :

This private tour will takes you to explore the most amazing sightseeing in the south of Morocco with the mountains, valleys and Old Berber architecture, which are Ksabahs.

Then to the big Sahara desert to experience Camel trekking in the golden sand dunes toward the high sand dunes, which are 250m high, where you will see the sunset and sunrise and try to do SandBoarding. And, we’ll spend the night in camp site (Nomad Tents) under the starry night sky around a warm fire and enjoying local Berber music.

Itinerary

Day 1Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges

Departure around 8:30 in the direction of Skoura, quick visit of the Kasbah Amridil, one of the wonders of the south on the “Route of a thousand Kasbahs”. We will continue our journey through the Valley of Roses and we will take an “off-road” track to reach the Kasbah Ait Youl. Before returning to Boulmane, we will have lunch at the top of the Dadès Gorges, before reaching the canyons of the Todra Gorges and its breathtaking panorama. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

Morning walk around the palm plantations in Tinerghir and in the Todra Gorges. We will then drive to Tinjedad for lunch and visit the Oasis Museum in a small traditional village called Elkhorbat. Afterwards we will go to Erfoud via Mellab and the Touroug palm groves. In Erfoud you can visit a fossil workshop. Then we will take the road to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi, and the dunes of Merzouga. Appointment with the dromedaries for a superb ride for 2 hours. You will be taken by camel to the bivouac where you can enjoy the sunset over the dunes. Dinner and night in bivouac.

Day 3Merzouga – Rissani kob-N’ – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes in a 4×4. through the vast palm grove of Tafilalet passing through the city of Rissani (the former Alaouite capital of Sultan Moulay Ali Cherif). Road to Alnif and Tazarine passing by the Oasis of palm trees then N’kob. Continuation to Ouarzazate via the Draa Valley and its Berber villages. Lunch on the road, after lunch visit the Kasbah of Tamnougalt, the former Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui. Then, return to Ouarzazate3 days Ouarzazate to Erg Chigaga via Ait Saoun crossing the N’Tinifift Tizi pass (1660 m). Arrival at the end of the day and transfer to your hotel
